4 week agoThe Pin High Bar & Grill continues to be our favorite once a week hangout. The food is very good, and the service led by Angie, Shannon, and Jennifer (great bartender) is superb. The comfortable seating and the peaceful and picturesque setting enhance the ambience of the restaurant without the need of being a large place. You can dine inside or outside. It's always a pleasure to go to the Pin High and meet friends and relatives there!

1 month agoComing here was a treat! I booked a Valentine’s Day reservation surprise for my wife through the app “open table” and the entire experience was great. Our waiter was great, the ambiance and environment was very warm/welcoming and the food was ASTOUNDING! We will definitely be returning!

1 month agoIt’s hard to review a restaurant when they’re working at 50% capability after the hurricane Helene catastrophe, but we were out doing errands and hungry. We found this place on Google maps and were surprised we had never discovered it before. It was a beautiful short ride up from Soco Rd even considering all the downed trees, so pretty in fact that it’s in my mind included as part of the restaurant experience. The menu was limited as could be expected, as were most of all the other restaurants brave enough to open at this time and a symbol of the fiercely strong community spirit. We both selected cheeseburgers from the short menu, I opted for a salad instead of fries but my daughter had the fries. The burgers were good, with caramelized onions and the bread really really good. I was very pleasantly surprised that the mixed salad was spring greens and rainbow radishes, fresh and unusual in a region where some iceberg lettuce and a slice of tomato passes off as salad in most restaurants. For my budget the ticket was a little high for two burgers and coffee, but they get an A for effort, good service and a relaxing, classy atmosphere as you might expect in a country club golf course. I don’t know at this point what the full menu during normal times looks like, but I’m certainly willing to try again and would encourage other diners to try as well, especially if you are seniors looking for a quiet , relaxing place to eat and unwind.

2 month agoThe Pin High is awesome! Everything we have ordered has been well cooked and delicious. This place is a hidden gem. The wings are awesome... especially the sweet chili sauce! The home-made chicken salad is amazing. Drinks are always well poured and bartenders are attentive and friendly. Pin High is one of the major perks of Maggie Valley Club!

3 month agoThis establishment had a good rating so we decided to get off the main road to try it out for lunch. We had the Reuben sandwich and the Classic Burger with fries. Both sandwiches were very tasty and the burger was done just as I asked. Our server was friendly and efficient. This restaurant is in the golf course facility so depending on how many people are playing may affect the parking close in.

4 month agoI liked it, cool view and attentive staff. The food was delicious and the beer was delicious too. The menu is not larger, but we liked everything we chose.
